Celebrating St Patrick’s Day
St Patrick’s Day is always a special occasion at the College, and this year was no exception. We were honoured to welcome Archbishop Patrick O’Regan, who presided over an inspiring Year 10 Liturgy, encouraging students to be courageous and use their talents to shape a bright future.
The liturgy reflected on the story of Saint Patrick, highlighting the twists, turns, and journey he faced, yet persevered through his love of God – reminding us all about the power of resilience and belief.
We were also delighted to welcome Dr Neil McGoran, Executive Director of Catholic Education SA, and Mr John Neate, Chairman of SACCS, who joined us in celebrating this important occasion.
Adding a relevant touch to the event was Old Scholar Tayla Carll (Class of ’19), who shared her story from being a College student to her path towards a successful career journey. Tayla’s story was an inspiring reminder of the opportunities that begin at #StPatsTech.
After the liturgy, students and staff gathered for morning tea, where the famous green donuts were enjoyed by all, adding to the festive spirit of the day.
St Patrick’s Day remains a highlight on the College calendar – an opportunity for students and staff to reflect and connect with Catholic leaders and celebrate the community spirit that defines our College.
