We had an overwhelming response to our school holiday Try-A-Trade taster sessions with over 60 young people in attendance. It was a fantastic opportunity for young people interested in pursuing a trade career to explore career pathways and have some fun!
On offer were full day sessions in Food, Hospitality & Industry Pathways, Plumbing & Electrical, Bricklaying & Tiling, and Carpentry & Plastering, offering great exposure to these industries and the expectations, hands-on practical learning, and the opportunity to learn new skills.
The taster sessions were delivered by registered training organisations Adelaide Institute of Hospitality, PEER, North East Vocational College, and ATEC – Adelaide Training & Employment Centre: RTO code 0022.
