The awesome Year 12.1 class cooked and served a sausage sizzle lunch for staff and students at the end of Term 2. The sausage sizzle formed part of a wider fundraising venture by the group that has seen over $400 raised for the purchasing of supplies for people experiencing homelessness.
Students have connected with local charity, Centacare, who will receive warm blankets sewn by the students, clothing donations collected from the College community, and hygiene packs that will be made up next term.
We are so proud of the 12.1 group who have elevated their Community Connections project far beyond its original scope. Their embodiment of our College Value “Serve” has been truly inspirational.
