It was a pleasure to host Blair Boyer MP on a recent visit to St Patrick’s Technical College. The Member for Wright saw first-hand our remarkable trade facilities while engaging with our students. Mr Boyer, Shadow Minister for Education, Training & Skills, and Veterans’ Affairs toured the facilities with Year 12 students and College Leaders, Caitlyn Watson and James Chant, as hosts and accompanied by Principal Danny Deptula.
“The conversations I had with students at St Pats really told me everything I needed to know about the School; they were overwhelmingly positive not only about the quality of the teaching but also the flexible nature of the curriculum that allows them to gain work experience and make sure they were ready for the workplace whilst simultaneously completing their SACE. “
It was an honour to showcase our unique College, boast about our student achievements, and discuss the importance of VET and skilling our young people.
