Shampooing, conditioning, styling… our Year 11 Hair & Beauty students spent a morning at La Strand Hair and Body being creative and practising their skills in an authentic in-salon experience.
Students were supported by #StPatsTech Education Support Officer Mikala, a qualified hairdresser with over 20 years’ experience in the hairdressing industry. Mikala was on hand to assist our students with their creative and technical skills as they work towards a career as a hairdresser and/or stylist.
Thank you to La Strand Hair & Body in Blakeview, owned and operated by qualified hairdresser and Old Scholar Taylah Suridge. The offer to use the salon for training was extremely kind with our students gaining confidence in a salon environment.
