A wonderful morning for our female students participating in the Ladies in Industry Careers Session and to mark International Women’s Day (IWD).
The theme of this year’s IWD is ‘Inspire Inclusion’, to inspire others to understand and value women’s inclusion.
The College welcomed Paula from Mas National as a guest speaker. Thank you to Paula for inspiring our students, highlighting that girls can ‘trade up’ into non-traditional pathways and industries, and promoting rewarding career pathways in trades and the strong demand for highly skilled women.
After the presentation, students met with Paula and Jacqui from Mas National for a 1:1 career counselling session.
Students enjoyed beautiful cupcakes, with toppers representing various industries, and received goodie bags, sponsored by St Patrick’s Technical College and MEGT Australia.
