Our Year 11 Food & Hospitality and Hair & Beauty students have spent this week in the kitchen creating exquisite Easter cakes.

Our Year 11 students were provided with a unique opportunity by attending the very first Year 11 Retreat for St Patrick’s Technical College.

The College turned green to celebrate our favourite day of the year, St Patrick’s Day. Honouring our patron saint, we welcomed guests to the College for the annual festivities and to enjoy traditional green donuts with staff and students!

With building works taking shape at the College, a couple of our Year 12 students were able to jump on the tools for Work Experience week.

A wonderful morning for our female students participating in the Ladies in Industry Careers Session and to mark International Women’s Day (IWD).

Parents and caregivers are invited to the ‘Restorative Practices’ parent session, a one-hour workshop with Kirsty Lush from Real Schools. Hear how we can work together as parents and teachers to mould young people for today and tomorrow. Held at the College on Tuesday 19 March 2024, at 6:00pm to 7:00pm.

Year 11 students undertaking VET training in cookery refined their skills in the kitchen to prepare and create a traditional Indonesian dish, Nasi Goreng.

With various building works taking shape at the College, students have had the opportunity to see first-hand what is involved in upgrading our facilities.

Parents and caregivers are invited to the ‘Reimagining Masculinity’ parent session, a one-hour workshop with Daniel Principe, a trained health professional, youth advocate and educator. Held at the College on Thursday 14 March 2024, at 6:00pm to 7:00pm.

Year 11 Construction students have been fabricating timber stud frames as a project in their Industry Connections class.

Our commercial kitchen was full of energy with Year 10PC4 cooking up a storm in their Food & Independent Living Trade Applications class. Hot off the wok was a Basil Stir-fried Chicken, with aromatic fragrances of chilli, garlic, ginger, and oyster sauce, served on a bed of Jasmine rice.

Parents and caregivers are invited to ‘The ADHD Revolution’ parent session, a one-hour workshop about neurodiversity, and specifically, teens with ADHD. Held at the College on Thursday 22 February 2024, at 6:00pm to 7:00pm.
